Another idea- don't assume people know what your are talking about when you ask them to subscribe to your feed or sign up for your RSS feed, etc. Write a post about what that means, What a feed is- simplify it. My husband, who is in IT an quite Internet savvy confessed to me a while a go that he didnt have a clue what the orange buttons were.. . Write up something that gives detailed explanation about what this is.. especially if your blog is not targeted to a tekky audience.
