Installing Wordpress on IIS

Are there any issues with installing Wordpress on a Windows Server (since Wordpress is written in PHP)?

It can be done

but there are some issues involved. Permissions are different on a IIS server, and this can be problematic. But PHP can certainly run on a Microsoft platform.
