Writing an ebook is hard work.

So I'm writing an ebook on blogging. I'm deep into the project now and there's no turning back, the effort thus far expended is just too much to leave undone. But boy oh boy, writing an ebook is hard work!

I'm sleeping about 3-4 hours a night, I'm typing furiously. Trying to decide what is too much and needs to be cut, trying to decide what needs more meat, trying to explain concisely things that you just do.

I'm now of the oppinion that we just don't pay authors enough. We don't charge enough for books. It's not an entirely new thought for me. As a consumer I was always glad that most ooks do not charge what I've felt they were really worth in terms of my gaining new understanding or new insights into things, but now from the production side, wow.

It's a labor of love and sweat (of the straight caffine variety) and sleepless nights. Not being a woman, I can't directly compare it to child birth, but I've heard women authors do so in the past and I think I might have an inkling of an idea what they really meant!

Oh, what's the ebook going to be about? Why Blogging ofcourse. I hope to have it ready some time in late January or early Febuary.
