Quality Content. A Fresh Approach To Publishing Unique, Quality Articles.

QualityContent.netQuality Content is the newest brain child of Jonathan Leger. Jonathan has put out a few of what I consider highly innovative sites recently. If I'm honest I think a couple of them have issues that prevent me from getting in on them, but even the ones I'm not into are flat out innovative. But his newest offering is simply amazing.

I had put off writing this post for a bit because I wanted to see more of it first. By that I mean that the site is in public beta right now and he just turned on the second half of the site yesterday. I was waiting to see if there was going to be a reaction like I expect there to be. Ultimately I've decided to go with my gut and just let you know about this now. I honestly think it is going to be huge, and it's a great opportunity for anyone who wants to publish quality content on their site, or get quality content published on other sites and build good links back to their pages.

The Article Author Perspective

Quality Content is a site that lets authors submit articles to a pool and lets publishers use those articles on their websites. Nothing really new there yet. I mean there are tons of article directories out there. But the similarities are exhausted in that one sentence. from here on we are in unexplored territory.

For one thing all of the articles are hidden away in a protected membership area An author's membership is free, and that's important for us here. It means we can put out articles to quality sites and not have to pay for the privilege.. So none of these articles will be spidered and indexed by the search engines.

Next up each author can embed up to three links in each article they submit. These links can point to anywhere within some specific guidelines No porn, hate, etc....

There is a section of the site where publishers can request specific articles. So you can scan the requests and find people who are active seeking content to publish. Then you can write an article and offer it to them with your three targeted links embedded in it.

And finally, while your article will only appear on one website, you get to accept or decline the publisher who will publish it. So you can make sure your article is displayed on a targeted relevant site with a level of quality that will reflect well on your own blog Or any type of site, this isn't limited to blogs, it's just that I tend to think in terms of blogs.. You actually have a say in where your work is published.

The Content Publisher Perspective

While my primary interest in this new site is the author side of it. The ability to put out some quality articles that I know will be published on sites that value quality and are actively seeking content, I'm also interested in the publishing possibilities.

As a publisher you pay a nominal monthly fee 18 to 23 cents for a quality 100% unique article is very nominal! and can publish either 30 or 150 fresh unique articles each month from the available pool. You simply select articles you would like to publish and apply to the author to publish them. Once accepted, you have exclusive use of the article for as long as you maintain the author's links.

You can also submit requests for articles on specific topics. Just fill out a form letting the authors know what you want to publish, and they can write article specifically for your site. Now, that's exciting. Think of what that would ordinarily cost you, and you might end up stuck with poor quality junk articles.

Why This Fresh New Approach Is Awesome For Us Niche Bloggers

We now can publish great content on our blogs at a rate of one or, even more per day, without worrying about the article being published on a few dozen, few hundred or even few thousand other blogs. And when we want to write some complementary articles to publish off of our blog, we have an instant outlet of publishers who value quality and are actively seeking our content. And we get to embed up to three links in those articles. Links that we choose the anchor text for. Links embedded in the actual article, not stuffed in some "resource box" in almost afterthought fashion as the article directories require.

Applying This To The Article Marketing Blog Promotion Mix.

Are you excited by the possibilities here? I sure am!

I will be testing this concept out thoroughly over the coming weeks and months. I will be using this site heavily for both content and promotions of a new niche blog I've just started. I honestly believe it's a solid win, but of course, until you test you don't know. So I'll be incorporating this into the article marketing mix for my blog promotions and I'll be sure to let you know how it fares.

Maybe, man. Maybe. It's easy to do. Frankly, the whole industry has been in such a miserable state for so long it gets discomfiting to see "new advances". Have you seen Craigslist lately?

Woah, Steve,

Take a deep breath man. ;)

First off, this site isn't aimed at freelance writers, it's aimed at article marketers. I would, personally, never just sell an article (or other writing) to someone. I can make more money from where the article leads than I ever could from the outright sale.

Second, it's very very cheap, but it isn't free.

Third, the writers have to approve the publisher before they can publish the article, so you aren't likely to see these articles on the crap sites.

I think you missed the intent of the service here.

Great...just what the freelance writers need; yet another free article dump to make our work worth even LESS to the legions of work-for-free publications out there. Innovative this may be but it helps us sadly little from what I can see.

Thaaaanks for sharing this site with everyone! This is definitely going to be huge, but I hope word doesn't get out before I get some good articles (^u^).

Looks like a great concept...with all the sites popping up merely scraping and copying other articles this should be a great source for fresh valuable content, specially for niches like you state.

Hi Dane,

Thanks for making this post. I recognize Jonathan as quality producer of great marketing products and combined with your review I didn't even have to read his sales page. :-)

I joined and have received some really good content for three different blogs.

Also, the authors are very conscious about what sites their content is going to be published on. Not just quality but if the article you chose is the best fit. You can even put in requests for articles and the keywords you want the article to match! I've had a couple of those answered and in a very fast turn around time (3 days!!!)

Thanks again

Hi Dane,
This sounds like a great idea, I will follow your updates on the testing of this with interest, i've bookmarked the site mentioned so I can check it out later. Very original and could prove very useful to many bloggers, especially those who get many unrelated link backs, this would certainly do away with those.

Tony:)
