3 Simple Steps to Explode the Value of Your Free eBook With…
If you shop on line with any frequency, and especially if you buy eBooks on line, you are no doubt familiar with the overwhelming array of free gifts, free bonuses and just plain freebies that marketers offer to their visitors hoping to encourage them to hit that “Buy Now” button. This is viral marketing at it’s most basic and fundamental level.
To make this work you need to have a couple of things in place.
First, how to locate, collect, select and offer free gifts, which will be valued as much as the original merchandise that is being purchased, put these gifts together and add them to your E-book?
And secondly, what kinds of freebie offers shuld you be aiming for when putting this package together?
There are just three steps to accomplishing this, and they will take care of both points fr you.
The three steps are:
- Identify your key words in each chapter of your E-book. Now, type those words into your favorite search engine. You are looking for free E-books on the same subject in more depth, by a greater expert than you are, or by someone who gives a new and fresh angle to the topic. Add a link to the free E-book in each chapter of your E-book.
- Research the Internet for related free gifts. Now you are looking for things that you could give as free gifts in your E-book that will make it more appealing and give it more pass-along appeal to your readers. For example: If you are selling gardening supplies, find a planting guide on the web that can be downloaded and include that as a gift in your E-book.
- Download the freebies. Visit the freebies pages on those web sites. Most sites that offer free gifts will encourage you to distribute them because they help promote their business when the free bonuses are redistributed. So you will be able to download them and upload them to your server so that you can offer them directly to your own visitors. If for some reason the owner of the free bonus does not want you to redistribute the freebies on your own, then you can simply include a link to them at the owners original page in your ebook. It is very important when doing this that you link to the download page and not the download file, as this is considered leeching and is not a good practice to get into.
Also monitor such links closely, and if possible use a redirect to link to them. This way if the page or file gets removed or goes down, you can switch to a back up freebie at some other location without asking people to download a new copy of your ebook for a new link.
Other key words I searched for are freebies, free E-books, and free reports and then gave the key word that I wanted the free stuff for. Like… “freebies for gardeners”.
Give your reader the best freebies that you can possibly offer. Give them your free ebook, additional reading material and resource links and free gifts as well. Also include a couple of free “special” bonuses that were not mentioned anywhere outside the ebook. This will surprise your readers and deliver them even more value than they were expecting. Everybody loves a bargain!
Bonus Tip!
Another great place to get freebies directly related to your offer is from Free PDF eBooks. You get your own instant ever expanding library of free PDF eBooks that are pre branded with your clickbank codes. You can download them as you need them, link directly to them, or just link to a keyword term and let your reader’s select the ones they want!
